ABOUT ME

My name is Rafaela Lisseth Reyes I would consider myself as a growing designer. I would like to revolutionize the idea of clothing and change peoples mind on the subject.I had always love fashion and style but I came to a spot where I didn’t really know what to do with it so I attended school and it open my mind to different points of view in a art perspective. I see people walking around with different styles and those styles stick out to me and make me wonder who that person is and how do their clothes tell a story. Well clothing is an expression of art and its very appealing to the human eye it creates movement an art term for drawing the attention to the mind to one point. If you see someone with black all the time you probably assume that they have a dark present but that is not always the case so clothing can play with a person’s mind. The fact that you can judge a person by their clothing is absurd because is like judging a book by its cover but that does not mean you can't wonder. With my clothing line I want to make a difference, stand out among others I would like to think most people like to stand out among others.I hate looking at the same styles and i a girl that likes bands and most bands shirts out there for girls are baggy and it just doesn't look right at all.Music is part of my life and i am positive that too many it's a very strong meaning in their life and only because a girl can hang with the boys doesn't mean that a girl can look good while doing it.My line has a combination casualty with a kick of sexiness that makes your body look great and having your favorite bands,unique phrases,poems and many graphics that stand out. I consider fashion and style as way of expression I would like everybody with a unique and little bit of attitude to wear my line. I would consider my line to be a glamorous rocker style and self –expressive. Not everyone knows how to express themselves so what a better way that through your clothes. Many people seek that inner voice inside themselves to come out due to them wearing my line they wont also look fabulous but express their inner emotions. So wear my line and speak your mind let your clothing be a symbol of your inner thoughts. I do have a junior line that is said to be the greatest line out there for the summer and i hope to get many positive reactions. The line is good for woman’s curves and flattering to all body shapes. I would love to come out with a men’s line in the future and make it a very sexy line but still very casual and good for all occasions. I hope to produce a variation of styles in the near future making my line a variety of mixing and matching. I am currently working in a line of totes and swimwear for this coming summer that will have a variation of patterns and solids. It’s fantastic what you can do with fabric and a design with different elements. You work with many people and view so many different perspectives coming out with crazy and exotic pieces of work. I hope to become a better designer in the future and climb up in the career ladder.
